JOEY LLOMERSE
Short Bio. Joey obtained a bachelor's degree in physiotherapy from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. Subsequently, he obtained a pre-master and master's degree in Human Movement Sciences, specializing in motor control and cognitive function, from the University of Groningen. During his master's, he performed a research project studying the integration of self-generated movement into somatosensory predictions using EEG. He is interested in studying the roles of prediction and uncertainty sensorimotor control and learning.
Research. Joey joined the Somatosensation and Gargalesis Lab as a Research Assistant in April 2026 to support a research project looking into cortical responses to ticklish stimuli produced by ASD individuals compared to neurotypical individuals.
