Sunay Ozay
Short Bio. Sunay holds a bachelor’s degree in Molecular Life Sciences and is currently enrolled in the Master’s program in Medical Biology with a focus on Neurobiology. Sunay has always been fascinated by how the brain functions and how neural processes give rise to perception and behavior. In February 2026, Sunay joined lab to gain hands-on research experience in neuroscience research.
Research. Sunay’s research focuses on how social context modulates somatosensory processing, examining how interactions with familiar versus unfamiliar individuals influence the perception of touch and ticklishness.
